Pumpkin MasksWhat You Need: Paper plate Crayons, markers, or tempera paint Scissors Hole punch Green yarn or elastic For older kids Tissue paper Glue What to Do: 1. Draw a jack o'lantern face on the back of the plate. 2. Cut out the face then color the mask orange with crayons, markers or paint. Older kids might want to glue torn up pieces of tissue paper instead. Decorate. Allow to dry. 3. Punch a hole on each side of the mask. 4. Tie the green yarn or elastic in the holes on the sides then around your head. Tighten as needed. Other ideas Bat: Color the mask black. Add black wings to the sides after attaching the black yarn or elastic to the holes on the sides. Witch: Color the mask green. Add a black hat and some red hair to the top. To make a "3-D" mask, at the top cut about an inch on each side (see picture) then overlap the sides and staple in place. Black cat: Color the mask black. Add cat ears and whiskers (use white pipe cleaners).
